Simple therapy with automated insulin delivery
Diabetes treatment has made great progress in recent years: with our products, we help people with diabetes to successfully manage their therapy. With the help of our mylife Loop solution, automated insulin delivery (AID) using an algorithm is already possible today. It helps users of our insulin pump to better control their glucose levels with the help of continuous measurement and a self-learning algorithm on their smartphone. The automated system takes over part of the therapy management and gives patients more time for their daily routines.
People with diabetes can choose between two sensors, the Dexcom G6 and the FreeStyle Libre 3, and customize their Loop. As the latest feature, caregivers of people with type 1 diabetes can track their childs glucose and insulin data via mylife Loop on their smartphone. The new "Companion" remote monitoring function thus gives parents, for example, more security because they can monitor all of their child's values – even when he or she is at school or with friends.
In the coming years, we want to further simplify access to treatment options or create new access points – and thus drastically reduce the number of people who cannot benefit from any treatment. We believe that self-treatment should become a matter of course worldwide.
