Burgdorf – Ypsomed partners with CamDiab Ltd, the developer of CamAPS FX, an app to manage glucose levels via insulin pumps using an adaptive, hybrid closed-loop approach. During the first half of 2022, this easy-to-use loop solution will be launched for the mylife YpsoPump system, starting in selected major countries in Europe and followed by other territories in the course of the year. Patients can then connect the mylife YpsoPump system to the mylife CamAPS FX Android mobile application and are enabled to algorithm-based insulin delivery support including bolus from the personal smartphone.

Approximately 125,000 people who are living with Type 1 Diabetes in Australia could now save thousands per year under an expansion of the National Diabetes Service Scheme (NDSS) announced today.

Under changes to the NDSS, people with Type 1 Diabetes who meet the current NDSS criteria for CGM funding will now have access to reimbursed Dexcom G6 products for Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) from 1 March 2022.

Burgdorf – Ypsomed (SWX: YPSN) generated a growth in turnover of 11.6% in the first half of 2021/22 compared to the previous year and achieved a consolidated total turnover of CHF 222.6 million. On its continued growth trend, the company achieved an operating result (EBIT) of CHF 10.5 million. This corresponds to an increase of 23.1%. Net profit increased to CHF 7.1 million (previous year: CHF 6.7 million).
