Ypsomed focuses on continuous further development. Therefore, all doors are open to our engineering teams for developing new ideas, products, components or processes. For example, as an engineer you will have the opportunity to optimise the sustainability of packaging. The reason being that it is our declared objective to be CO2-neutral by 2040. What needs to be changed to produce less waste?? Where can we use more environment-friendly materials? The team is constantly looking for new options. Another team is in touch with customers and employees and advises them on sustainability issues. We also give analytical and numerical geniuses the opportunity to pursue their interests and, for example, draw up life cycle assessments on the basis of which products can be optimised.
You can also apply new ideas and the motivation to change something directly to our products. The hardware and software components form an important part of our new developments. For example, if you are enthusiastic about embedded systems and their optimisation, then Ypsomed is the right place for you. Whether this relates to low power or connectivity, or making the apps for smartphones, web or cloud solutions more user-friendly, our engineers are constantly changing and improving things. In doing so, you will be in regular contact with product management or the project leaders to check whether your ideas can be implemented. Professionals in Human Centered Design, Test or DevOps Engineers also play a key role in our company.
We have a huge workbench for experimenting and a 3D printer. We are always trying out new materials and ideas to make our products and packaging more sustainable.
