Employee development

The development of our employees is very important to us. Through systematic people and talent management, we foster individual strengths and actively support committed employees in their personal and professional development.

We are committed to individual development

As part of regular people dialogs (employee appraisals), we jointly identify areas for development and agree on appropriate measures.

Personal development goals are aligned and coordinated with the career path at Ypsomed.

We support further training

Ypsomed participates in various forms of training and further training projects.

In this way, we ensure that our employees are competent for their demanding tasks and facilitate various career paths within the company.

Part-time studies

Ypsomed offers motivated employees support for their personal and professional development.

In addition to suitable part-time positions, attendance at vocational baccalaureate colleges and universities of applied sciences is specifically encouraged.

For example, we pay the entire tuition fees for a part-time Bachelor's degree course at a university of applied sciences and offer advantageous employment conditions (e.g. by reducing the workload during this time).

Catch-up training for professional qualifications

Ypsomed supports employees who are seeking to obtain a professional qualification in accordance with Art. 32 of the Vocational Training Ordinance through catch-up training.

This enables employees without an apprenticeship qualification to obtain a professional qualification with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ) retrospectively and after several years of practice.

This enables unskilled employees to keep pace with the increased demands of advancing automation and also increases their own attractiveness on the job market.

Ypsomed bears the entire training costs, pays for the training days in inter-company courses and provides suitable vocational trainers and practice supervisors.
