Manuel grew up in Solothurn and thinks it is one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. In his free time, the 29-year-old focuses on sport: he plays football and in winter he enjoys snowboarding and sledging. Manuel joined Ypsomed two and a half years ago and works in Diabetes Care.

Ypsomed's participation in the sixth "Blausee-Schwimmen”

At the beginning of December, the sixth “Blausee-Schwimmen” took place in the beautiful Blausee in the Berne Oberland in fantastic winter weather. In total, over 500 "Tough-Cookies & herti Sieche" plunged into the Blausee for a good cause and swam through the 4.2 degree cold water – seven colleagues from Ypsomed also took part.

From 30 September to 28 October, Emre, IT Application Development Apprentice in the YDS Innovation Team, spent a month in Barcelona at our new Software Delivery Center. He was able to gain valuable insights into the important work we do in Catalonia – and also implement projects himself. We met him for an interview.

On National Future Day on 9 November, we welcomed around 60 young people to our sites in Burgdorf and Solothurn. They had the opportunity to gain an insight into their day-to-day work with their mentors and get to know Ypsomed better.
