Antonio is 32 years old, grew up in Bern, but has now lived in Zurich for eleven years. His parents are both from Italy, but he was born and raised in Switzerland. In 2006, he completed a banking apprenticeship at a major bank and worked in this area until 2015.

At Ypsomed, team spirit not only counts in daily cooperation, but also in leisure time. Our employees like to do things together. In addition to cooking courses, artistic workshops and sightseeing tours, they sometimes cover long distancessuch as the Grand Prix of Bern, where the longest distance is around 16 kilometres. According to the organisers, these are the ten most beautiful miles in the world. This year, "the GP" took place in mid-May with more than 25,000 runners. Around 50 colleagues from Ypsomed were at the start.

Last week, the winners of the Ypsomed Innovation Award 2022 were honoured. The award, worth a total of CHF 100'000, is presented every two years by the Ypsomed Innovation Fund Foundation. With this award, we support the universities of applied sciences and universities in the Swiss midlands and contribute to making developments from research useful for society.
