Our booth at the BAM 2023
From 14 to 18 September, the Vocational and Apprenticeship Fair (BAM) took place at the BernExpo. During this time, our apprentices and trainers presented our twelve apprenticeship professions to interested students at our booth.
Learners recruit pupils
Our booth was very well attended again this year: with an exciting virtual reality game, visitors had the opportunity to get up-close insights into the work of our production. In addition, we presented our pens and auto-injectors in a glass showcase – an item that was always examined with big eyes during the trade fair. Our apprentices answered the questions of the students with a lot of patience and also gave them the personal impressions of their work experience in the company. This gave them a good insight into what to expect from an apprenticeship at Ypsomed.
Our apprentices did a very good job during the five days, says Jasmin Heer, Young Talents Manager at Ypsomed. They were very committed and did a great job of explaining our apprenticeships to the interested students – after all, who could describe an apprenticeship at Ypsomed better than our apprentices? And who knows, maybe we'll meet a few students again in the future - but then in a job interview, says Jasmin Heer about the event.
Our twelve apprenticeships
Using 3D glasses, the students at the booth were able to virtually immerse themselves in the working world of a plastics technologist or plant operater and see with their own eyes what it is like to work in production. The students were able to see with their own eyes what it is like to work in production with our large machines and thus make an important contribution to people with chronic diseases.
