Ypsomed's participation in the sixth "Blausee-Schwimmen”

At the beginning of December, the sixth “Blausee-Schwimmen” took place in the beautiful Blausee in the Berne Oberland in fantastic winter weather. In total, over 500 "Tough-Cookies & herti Sieche" plunged into the Blausee for a good cause and swam through the 4.2 degree cold water – seven colleagues from Ypsomed also took part.

Flexible working, company sports and a family-friendly corporate culture are very important at Ypsomed. We not only contribute to a better quality of life for people with chronic conditions, but also pursue this goal within the company. By participating in events such as the “Blausee-Schwimmen” event, we help our employees to feel at home in our corporate culture.

Taking part in the “Blausee-Schwimmen” was a great activity: swimming together in the ice brings you closer together and pushes you beyond your limits. We also got to know new colleagues from other departments with whom we do not normally have much contact,

says Frank Budweg, Event Manager at Ypsomed.

Cold shock proteins for a good cause

A total of around CHF 25 000 was raised on Sunday for former Federal Councillor Adolf Ogi's "Freude herrscht" foundation, which supports children's physical activity projects. Ypsomed was also there with a team of seven people to support this campaign. Our colleagues had prepared well in advance and trained regularly in the Aare in Solothurn.

Congratulations and respect for this great achievement! We are already looking forward to next year.
