Ypsomed has improved its rating in the renowned Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) from C to B. We are very pleased to receive this recognition, as it confirms our continuous commitment to climate protection.

CPD rating: an important benchmark
The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) assesses companies worldwide in terms of their transparency and actions to combat climate change. Our B rating shows that we have already made significant progress while continuing to work on reducing our carbon footprint and finding sustainable solutions.
A sustainable change requires clear goals and decisive action – and this is precisely the path we are pursuing. The current improvement in the CDP rating from C to B shows that we are continuously taking measures to reduce our environmental impact and operate even more responsibly,
says Sabine Huber, Manager Corporate Sustainability at Ypsomed.
This success is an incentive for us to further strengthen our climate strategy and make our contribution to a climate-friendly future. Many thanks to everyone who has contributed to this success! Together we make the difference.
Translating transparency into action
CDP involves comprehensive reporting on climate commitment, such as climate risks and opportunities, climate strategy and targets, comprehensive data management, external verification of our climate data and measures in the value chain. Participation in the CDP rating, in which several hundred questions and requirements have to be met, is correspondingly time-consuming.
