The Ypsomed team on the most beautiful ten-mile course in the world: Once again this year, numerous employees took part in the biggest race in German-speaking Switzerland. Over 90 runners from our ranks joined the more than 35,000 participants in the Grand Prix of Bern (GP) – a new record for Ypsomed!
Whether with their children at the Bear GP, on the shorter route through the UNESCO World Heritage Site at the Old Town GP, or over the legendary ten miles of the Grand Prix itself, our colleagues participated with enthusiasm, endurance, and team spirit.
This record turnout was not only a sporting success, but also a strong sign of our team spirit. Because what was clearly evident at the GP Bern is also the foundation of our everyday work: we grow together – as a team, as a company and as a community.
It was very motivating to line up at the start with so many colleagues. The atmosphere was great and you immediately felt part of something big,
says Jasmin Gerber, mediamatics apprentice, about her participation.
Ypsomed was also among the front runners in terms of sport: we secured second place in the company trophy with an impressive team performance. Congratulations to everyone who contributed to this strong result. And because good performances should be celebrated, the day was rounded off with an atmospheric dinner together at the Bern Tram Depot near the Bärengraben – a fitting end to an unforgettable team event.
We are already looking forward to next year and are sure there will be plenty more wonderful moments to come.
