Hasan leads a team of 65 people, the majority of whom are based in Barcelona. The team is responsible for the development of apps for Ypsomed's diabetes care products. He previously led a digital team in Switzerland. When his line manager approached him and asked if he would like to take on the vacant position in Barcelona, Hasan was very enthusiastic. After consulting with his family, who fully supported him, he accepted the challenge. Hasan had already worked around the world in the past to bring products to market for Ypsomed. However, the expansion of his management responsibilities to an international level brought new challenges in terms of intercultural leadership and different labour laws and cultures. Nevertheless, Hasan sees nothing but advantages in the development of his career, as it broadens his horizons and offers him new perspectives.

With the international management role, I have to act even more responsibly, communicate more carefully and create a basis of trust so that we can work well together in the future.
