Company Story

We use our modular exhibition stand at an average of more than ten trade fairs a year. Our exhibition stand is flexible and consists of several components, most of which can be reused. This allows us to make a direct contribution to sustainability. We have now been awarded the ‘Gold Standard’ by the ‘Better Stands’ initiative for the third time.

CPHI 2022 in Barcelona, Pharmapack 2023 in Paris and CPHI 2024 in Milan: we have been recognised for the third time for our sustainable exhibition stand. The ‘Better Stands’ programme encourages exhibitors and their exhibition service providers to refrain from using single-use stands at events and to use reusable and ultimately recyclable structures instead. The aim is to avoid stands being used just once and then disposed of.

The criteria for the award include aspects such as the modularity of the stands, the reusability of the materials used, the minimisation of waste and the possibility of recycling individual components at the end of their service life. Every year, only a few companies worldwide that have distinguished themselves with innovative concepts for sustainable trade fair appearances are honoured.

Reusable components

Sustainability has been a high priority at Ypsomed for many years. When selecting our trade fair concept, we therefore made sure that we keep our CO2 footprint as low as possible when attending trade fairs.

says Jeanette Babik, Head of Communications at Ypsomed

Ypsomed's exhibition stand concept is based on modularity and flexibility. Specifically, this means that we reuse most of the entire stand structure, including the floor, furniture, signage elements and other components.
