Ypsomed offers high-performing students the opportunity to complete an internship at one of our other locations. Miloh, an IT application development apprentice, spent four weeks gaining valuable experience at our Software Delivery Center in Barcelona, where he also had the chance to implement projects himself.
Attending the La Merce city festival, strolling through the Barrio Gotic district, or filling up on delicious tapas? During his time in Barcelona, Miloh saw and experienced much of what the capital of Catalonia has to offer – and, of course, expanded his professional knowledge. This was made possible by his excellent performance at school and at work, which earned him the opportunity to stay.
Working on the app
As a budding computer scientist in application development, technical tasks are nothing new to Miloh. He was able to put his existing expertise to good use: his work on the CliniPilot app made a major contribution to meeting deadlines. His main tasks were debugging, new features, and improvements to the user interface. In addition, he was able to develop a concept for storing data schemas (a structured description that defines how data is organized, stored, and linked within a system) centrally in one location and making them accessible.
