Sustainability is a key part of our corporate strategy. By joining the UN Global Compact Network Switzerland & Liechtenstein, we are strengthening our commitment to responsible business practices and expanding our exchange with organizations dedicated to sustainable development.
The UN Global Compact brings together companies from around the world that are committed to ten universal principles in the areas of human rights, labor standards, environmental protection, and anti-corruption. At the same time, the initiative supports companies in aligning their business activities with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Sustainability is already embedded in many areas of our company. We are committed to conscious and sustainable action across all areas of our business and are working toward net-zero emissions throughout our entire value chain.
In product development and production, we focus on sustainable solutions. Our ecodesign guidelines promote resource-efficient product concepts, we develop recyclable platforms such as YpsoLoop, and we are expanding production based on our “local for local” principle. This helps us shorten transportation routes, reduce emissions, and strengthen security of supply.
In addition to environmental protection, we are committed to aligning our strategies and business practices in the areas of human rights, labor standards, and anti-corruption with the ten universal principles of the UN Global Compact. Through our Code of Conduct and Supplier Code of Conduct, targeted training, and whistleblower system, we work to promote respect for human rights, compliance with labor standards, and the prevention of corruption throughout the Ypsomed Group and across our value chain.
