IBLive Solothurn 2025

The IBLive fair took place in Solothurn from 25 to 28 March 2025 – an event during which ten companies from the region opened their doors to school classes. Ypsomed was also there and welcomed numerous interested pupils to the company.

Investing in tomorrow's talent

The motto of IBLive 2025 was ‘Invest in young people instead of giving up’ – an appeal that we at Ypsomed actively live by. We invest in the training of young talent, offer them a well-founded and practical apprenticeship and support them individually along the way. Those who complete an apprenticeship with us not only benefit from high-quality training, but also have a very good chance of obtaining a permanent position afterwards.

Our twelve apprenticeships

A short presentation about Ypsomed gave the young people insights into our company and our wide range of apprenticeships. They were then able to get involved themselves at various interactive stations and experience our apprenticeships in a hands-on and practical way.

Interest was high – our stands were well attended throughout, and the enthusiasm of the young people was clearly noticeable: we welcomed around 500 students. It was particularly pleasing that our apprentices were able to present their occupations themselves and thus provide authentic insights into their daily work. At the stand for mediamaticians, visitors were able to work with Photoshop or assemble a magnet themselves with the design engineers. Skilled trades are in demand: the stands where visitors were able to try their hand at the work were by far the most popular.

Events like this are a great opportunity to get young people interested in our professions and to show them how varied an apprenticeship at Ypsomed is,

says Braida Müller, Human Resources Expert Young Talents, about the event.

A big thank you goes to our vocational trainers, who put their heart and soul into making this event a success.

We look forward to seeing some of the young students again in the future – perhaps soon as our new apprentices!
