Ypsomed is once again one of the most innovative companies in Switzerland in the category of chemicals, pharmaceuticals and medical technology. This is the third time that BILANZ, PME and Statista have presented the award. We are delighted with this recognition and will continue to invest in research and development of our products and services, always with our vision in mind to make selfcare simpler and easier.
Concentrated strength in research and development
With around 440 employees in research and development and more than 40 new, highly qualified positions created in this area in the past financial year, Ypsomed is consistently focusing on innovation. As the market leader in the field of injection and infusion systems, we are constantly working to optimise our products in terms of handling, materials and applications. At the same time, we are expanding our portfolio to include digital solutions to improve therapies.

More than eight million people with chronic conditions worldwide use our products. We want to continue to improve access to selfcare and the quality of treatment through new technologies and additional services. As a manufacturer of injection and infusion systems, we play an active role in market development, improving existing products and developing new technologies that offer pharmaceutical customers and end-users additional options and evidence-based added value in the treatment of chronic conditions.
