The 6th Edition European Medical Device Human Factors and Usability Engineering Conference brings together professionals from across the medical device landscape for three days of focused exchange on usability, compliance, and patient safety. The program combines hands-on workshops, fireside discussions, and panel sessions addressing both technical innovation and strategic implementation, from AI and simulation to global expansion and regulatory clarity.
Ypsomed will contribute to the program with a presentation by Christian Schmid, Senior Human Factors Manager at Ypsomed, titled “De-Risking Use: How to integrate HFE into your Risk Management file without duplicating work.” His session will share concrete, experience-based guidance on embedding human factors engineering into risk management in a way that is efficient, compliant, and avoids unnecessary duplication, drawing directly on real project practice. Be sure to catch Christian's insights live in Amsterdam!
