Copaxone® (glatiramer acetate injection) is indicated for the treatment of patients with relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS). The Copaxone® brand is approved in more than 50 countries worldwide, including the United States, Russia, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Israel and all European countries. To date, Teva has mainly marketed Copaxone® in a standard syringe. With the launch of the drug in an autoinjector, Teva offers Copaxone® now in an easy-to-use and easy-to-handle device, making self-medication for patients living with MS easier and more convenient. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), more than 2.3 million people are affected by MS worldwide.

Teva has already launched Copaxone® in combination with the YpsoMate® in Germany in March 2019 and will launch in other markets within the next few months. The pre-filled autoinjector is based on Ypsomed's YpsoMate® platform and is designed for subcutaneous injection of liquid drugs. Teva opted for the 1.0 ml variant of the autoinjector with Teva specific colours of the device.

The broad interest of leading pharma partners in our autoinjectors proofs that we are meeting market needs. Our platform approach allows us to fulfil the individual needs of our customers in a short time while remaining flexible in production capacities,
