Quality & Regulatory jobs at Ypsomed
Solving international regulatory challenges and assuring the highest quality
As a medical technology company, we are obliged to comply with strict regulatory requirements. As a specialist for Q&R, you will ensure that the safety and efficacy of our products comply with regulatory requirements and develop sophisticated regulatory affairs strategies. This way, we can achieve worldwide approval for our products together. To ensure that you can work as smoothly as our solutions, you are free to arrange your working hours and location with us as far as possible.
I find Ypsomed’s product portfolio very exciting. Due to changes in the regulatory environment and the digital transformation, new questions and development opportunities arise all the time.
Stefanie, Teamlead Regulatory Affairs Delivery Systems
Regulatory specialists are part of the project team in the development of new products. They ensure that the regulatory requirements necessary for the correct preparation of all registration documents are observed. To achieve this, they work together with various departments. In the area of Life Cycle Management and Product Care, they ensure that the documentation is «state-of-the-art» and continue to develop it further together with the specialist groups. They are the contact persons for queries from authorities and «Notified Bodies».
In addition, as the regulatory specialist, you support the quality system teams during audits by checking dossiers and ensuring that they comply with the requirements. The tasks of the regulatory teams also include stakeholder management. For example, you will contribute to convincing the Executive Board of the need to make process adjustments when these are essential to comply with regulatory requirements.

Career opportunities at Ypsomed for QM/RA
At Ypsomed, there are numerous opportunities for further development: in addition to the classic career path with promotion to management positions, this may mean changing departments or changing the area of responsibility, by expanding it for example. Many employees who started their careers in production now work in the Quality Systems Department. In addition, in the areas of quality and regulatory, you are required to always stay up to date and be aware of the amendments to standards and regulations. We actively support your further training: you can broaden your horizons at training courses, at conferences or through external further training courses. The transfer of knowledge via Best Practices between the departments is also given thanks to regular exchanges.
