The result that Ypsomed was awarded the silver medal for our sustainability commitment for the first time by EcoVadis, an independent assessment agency in the field of sustainability, is all the more gratifying.

Dirk Schuster is 31 years old and comes from Germany. He grew up in the Pfalz, near the largest wine barrel in the world. He studied business administration in Mannheim and mechanical engineering in Munich and San Diego. In his free time, he likes to do sports, e.g. mountain biking, ski touring, kite surfing or wingfoiling. He came from Munich to Switzerland in February 2022 and now lives in Bern.

Gilbert Achermann led Ypsomed's General Meeting for the first time as Chairman of the Board of Directors on 28 June, welcoming more than 360 shareholders to the Burgdorf Market Hall. In addition to introducing new members to the management team, CEO Simon Michel presented the positive business results and explained why the share price performance has more than doubled in recent years.
